The Country Club Brookline Wedding

Chelsea & Andrew are Married!!

This one was special.   Two years ago, I helped produce a party for an amazing family celebrating the US Open, which took place that year at The Country Club in Brookline.  One year later, I was back celebrating with the same client, having planned their son Michael’s wedding to his bride Caroline.  And at that wedding, I had the pleasure of meeting Caroline’s  brother Andrew and his lovely fiancé Chelsea.  Who pulled me in to help plan their wedding, just about one year later, back at The Country Club.  I love full circle moments.  And I love getting to know families so intimately.  Knowing all of the players makes my job all the more special and as I look at these insanely beautiful photos captured by Ausrine Weddings, I’m feeling all the more lucky to having gotten to be a part of it.

Chelsea knew she didn’t want a first look.  She’s an old soul kind of bride and I’m here for it.  She spent the day getting ready at The Lenox in Back Bay with her mom and sister, while Andrew and his guys got ready at The Country Club.  They had a gorgeous ceremony at Church of The Redeemer, complete with a choir, strings and trumpet. They made  exit out of the church through streamers into a vintage Rolls Royce that carried them to The Country Club, for a gorgeous cocktail hour and dinner.  After dinner, the horn section of the band led the guests New Orleans-Style from the dining room onto the dance floor for an epic party.  I think the word epic is annoyingly overused.  But it was an epic party.  For an epic couple. On an epic day.  I have no other words other than to say THANK YOU Chelsea & Andrew for letting me be a party of this day.
