Perfect Boston Bridal Shower

I don’t normally post events that didn’t have a professional photographer, but this August shower celebrating bride-to-be Lily was just too sweet not to share. We wanted a fun, city location for a bridal luncheon, and SRV in Boston’s South End was absolutely perfect. It not only has delicious food, a great outdoor patio space (perfect for pre-luncheon activities and cocktails), but also is already closed for lunch, which is key in avoiding huge buy-out fees. We made the look and feel of this party all about mid-summer blooms. Upon entry, guests got their choice of a monogram or name to have screen printed on the spot onto beautiful market totes from Apolis. Then, as they stepped onto the back patio, they were welcomed with a beautiful flower cart brought in from Upon-A-Star’s Pop Shop Collection - this interactive activity allowed all guests to create their own flower arrangements to take home. After the activities, cocktails, and hors d’oevures, guests sat at perfectly set tables with floral from Table and Tulip for a beautiful family-style lunch with touching toasts. Want more sweetness? We also brought in shortbread cookies with edible pressed flowers from Sweet Botanical Bakes and floral designed cupcakes from Boston Baked Blooms.
