Hudson Valley Rustic Dream Barn Wedding

With a bride who has worked for presidential advance teams and a groom who has worked for NASA, they certainly don’t miss any details. We needed a venue that would be driving distance for families in PA & NY and embodied their casual style. We fell in love with Owl’s Hoot Barn in the Hudson Valley and created a design all about sense of place and season. Our escort card display was a vintage flower cart with buckets full of local wildflowers. We stocked the bed of a red vintage pick-up truck with those same seasonal blooms as a great photo opp for guests. We found a local farm-to-table caterer and created a menu full of the season’s local bounty. We mismatched the china and the furniture for a rustic, yet residential vibe, and after an epic dance party, capped off the night with a bonfire and MAJOR s’mores bar display.
