Holiday Wedding at Boston’s Newbury Hotel
Intimate Boston Winter Wedding for Morgan & Schuyler
Morgan & Schuyler reached out to me in mid-September to ask about helping them to plan their December wedding. I said “Sure. we are talking about 2024, right?” Nope. This year. Three months? Easy when you get to work with a client and a set of vendors as amazing as this one.
This couple was absolutely amazing. They knew the ceremony would be at the historic Emmanuel Church in Back Bay, as many members of the groom’s family have been married there as well and chose the date of December 29th so we could lean in to allll of the holiday vibes. We chose to hold reception at The Newbury, knowing it would be perfectly decked out for the holidays and overlook the gorgeous twinkling lights of The Public Gardens and Comm Ave. The wedding was for less than 50 people, so The Garden Room was perfect for one long family table. And the details were just SO delicious: custom invitations from Gus & Ruby to feature their beloved pup Biggie, a day of getting ready and a first look at a private members club on Comm Ave, an amazing 4-course dinner at The Newbury, gorgeous green velvet linens and gold rimmed glassware and china from Peak Event Services, and gorgeous floral from the flower wizards at Table & Tulip. All perfectly captured by my friend Kate McElwee- definitely photos to make you all warm and fuzzy inside when it is so cold outside- enjoy!
