Seaside Autumn Wedding in Westerly, RI

What a way to send off the 2023 wedding season! After a summer of more rainy Saturdays than we’ve EVER seen, I really thought the weather gods would be on my side for my last wedding of the season. Were they? No. Did it matter? Not in the least. Nothing could rain on this glorious parade for Brenda & Peter. I really fell in love with these two during our fast and furious 6-month planning spree. They were a blast and I have no doubt they will remain in my life for years to come. We took over the enchanting Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, RI for a weekend that consisted of an intimate rehearsal dinner, a lively welcome cocktail reception, a wedding morning 5k run (yes, they are indeed that crazy to want to run a 5k on their wedding morning), an intimate fireside ceremony (it may have been our rain plan, but I can’t imagine anything sweeter), a gorgeous 4-course dinner and fabulous dance party in the tented reception, and finally a late night “Wine Down” reception back in the Inn to cap off a perfect weekend. I came home from this weekend feeling gratitude for the work I get to do, the clients I get to know and the truly fantastic and talented vendors I get to work with.
